    În primavara anului 2014, la simpozionul de cercetări ştiinţifice al Universităţii Tibiscus am avut prima ocazie de a prezenta studiul ce reprezinta şi lucrarea mea de licenţă de la terminarea Facultăţii de Psihologie. Scopul acestui studiu a fost investigarea relației dintre satisfacția sexuală și stresul perceput la tineri din Timișoara.   Mult contestata arie a sexologiei este de interes general. Dacă studiem piramida nevoilor lui Abraham Maslow , prima treaptă include nevoile fiziologice: aer, apă, hrană, sex , somn, homeostazie și excreție. Pentru a putea să ne ocupam de alte nevoi în procesul atingerii echilibrului, este esențial să fie satisfăcute toate nevoile de bază.   Domeniul psihosexologiei este unul relativ puțin investigat, deși sexualitatea reprezintă un aspect esențial pentru majoritatea indivizilor.
