10 ways to boost your self-esteem!

1.      Assign yourself small daily tasks. What do you understand by small? Half an hour of exercise per day? Well that’s why most people fail. Start with really small ones. So you don’t even make an effort at first.
2.      Distill these tasks to even smaller ones. These tasks have in the beginning the sole purpose to boost your self-esteem. So, you don’t have to move mountains. For example, you just have to water a flower daily. That would take about 1 minute, right? It’s enough to start!
3.      Make a checklist and go through it daily. In order to have the effect you search for, you must check every task from you check list. The feeling you get when you complete a task is the feeling that boosts your self-esteem. It is the feeling of: I can, I am useful, I am capable, I am perseverant. That means I have a lot of qualities.
4.      Keep a good hygiene. That means everything. Clothes, hair, shoes, your body. Helps you image but it also helps you feel well and comfortable. Some more  perseverance right here.
5.      Practice altruism and generosity. When you see you have so much to give, you feel richer, don’t you? Even if it’s the ability to listen to someone and show them you care. It means you have the time, the energy and the intelligence to care not only for yourself, but even for others.
6.      Speak up! Or others will. And I am sure you sometimes saw that you had better opinions than the ones that usually speak first. Your opinion deserves to be heard. And when you will see that people truly listen to you, maybe you will start believing that you have something valuable to say!
7.      Face your fears. Every single fear you conquer will give you courage and strength. Leave you comfort zone just to become more comfortable with yourself.
8.      Please yourself first. If you are not truly happy, how can you make others happy? You have to think of yourself first and give yourself the comfort that you need, in order to have the energy to give more to the world.
9.      Avoid negativism. Catch the positive people by the hand. Keep them near. They will be vital for you in some dark moments. And they also can be a good example for you. Negativism never helped anybody.

10.  Reward yourself. Buy the shoes, buy the book and go on that trip. Even a hot bath and a glass of wine that will steal just an hour of your time will boost your energy and self-confidence. Reward yourself because most people won’t do it.
